It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a high-energy multi-media stage show, hosted by J-Star (co-creator/co-star of The Zinghoppers EMMY Award winning TV series). Utilizing state of the art sound and projection, this extravaganza invites your students on a superhero learning adventure! J-Star wonders if all you need to be a superhero is a cape. Who has the answer? Your students! They'll encourage him to go on a magical adventure to learn what it means to be a real superhero. Along the way, we learn important life lessons about being a good friend, eating healthy, exercising daily and looking for numbers and letters in the world around us. In the end students join the cast in a "superhero pledge" that helps promote pro-social behaviors and builds self-esteem. Shazam! Superheroes unite!! Grab your cape and mask, and get ready for an adventure!
Cast: Everyone!! Hosted by J-Star, joined by state of the art video projections of Funky, Olo, Coconuts and Kitty along with the Zinghoppy Dancers...a true stage show extravaganza!

The Zinghoppers television series and live concert tour adheres to the early childhood education principles as outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Guidelines for Learning and by the standards of PBS Television.
Educational Advisory Team
The Zinghoppers are very thankful for our team of six early childhood education specialists that help advise and shape all content and curriculum. Janet, Jean, Sally, Marianne, Lori and Deborah have combined teaching experience of over 140 years! All of the songs, scripts and choreography are shared with this Education Advisory Team. Their job is to make sure all content adheres to the most current understanding of child development as well as the early childhood education principles as outlined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Guidelines for Learning. As teachers, co-stars Kitty and Jack know the importance of producing high-quality children's programming and want educators to use the Zinghoppers series as a teaching tool in the classroom. Activity guides based on the concert tour and television series are available by request.
The Zinghoppers will be wearing their best superhero costumes - and invite you and your students to join them! Dress like your favorite superhero or create your own costume. Make your own cape or mask! Maybe you have a utility belt like Batman, or a power ring like Green Lantern. Cat ears like Catwoman? A helmet like Thor? Armor like Iron Man? Your students can even design their own symbol - such a stylized letter or visual icon - to wear on their shirts or capes. Just no weapons please! Superheros unite and use your powers to create a great costume to wear to the show...anything that makes you feel like a real superhero - because you are!
