This is a funny story about a crazy librarian that loved adventure, travel and of course, reading. I need your help - and your Librarians help - to tell this story.

Whenever you hear this sound (XXX) your Librarian will shout, "Ahoy, Readers!" Ready? Let's try it: (XXX). Oh that's pretty good. But let's try it with your Librarian one more time. Ready? Let's try: (XXX). Perfect.

Now I need all of the kids help. During the story, when you hear this sound (###) you need to say, "Ahoy, we love that book!" Ready? Let's try it: (###). Oh very very good. Let's try with everyone here. Ready, remember you say, "ahoy, we love that book!" Ready? Here we go: (###). Great job!

Now it's time for our story...

Once upon a time there was a crazy Librarian who would always shout: (XXX) very loud and very clear.
They'd shout: (XXX) for everyone to hear.

The Librarian worked at a magical place called a Library.
It was full of books as far as the eye could see.
There were thin books and thick books, big books and small.
Books with pictures, and some with no pictures at all. Books for adults, books for children, all of them free.
Anyone can borrow them - even you or even me.

This Librarian wanted to make the Library the funnest place on earth.
So every day would wear a funny pirate shirt.
A pirate hat and a pirate eye patch,
and would say, (XXX) whenever the chance.
Maybe if you listen you will hear,
this funny librarian whisper in your ear...
(XXX) very quiet but very, very clear...

The librarian would hold up a funny book and say,
"(XXX) would you like a look?"
And the kids would all say, (###).
"(XXX) what about this one, as the Librarian held up another.
The kids would say "(###)" to each other.
"(XXX) and do you like this one?" The librarian would say.
"(###)" and this would go on all day.

The point of this short story is very clear,
books are fun especially when you hear,
(XXX) and you shout (###) in response
that everyone loves shouting
(###) all at once!
